DESCRIPTION "Maghreb: Across Atlas Mountains" brings you across the Atlas Mountains to visit the city of Sefrou, which used to have the largest Jewish community in the country; the town of Bhalil, whose buildings are caves dug in a hill; to Ifrane, a ski resort built at the beginning of the 20th century by the French; and to Azrou, a Berber town with green tiled roofs. The video takes you to Erg Chebi in Sahara, climbing sand dunes at sunrise, and to Rissani, a crossroad town for the caravans of forgotten times. The video continues on to Todra and Dades Gorge, Tinerhir, Ouarzazate and Agdz, and to the uniquely picturesque Vale de Draa, flanked by palm tree groves, through kasbah and ksours all the way to the garrison town of Zagora, where a famous sign shows only 52 days by camel to Timbouctou. Returning on the same road, you will stop at two famous kasbahs presently used as stages for lots of film productions.
