Reggie White, who passed away pre-maturely on December 26, 2004, is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best, defensive ends ever to play professional football and truly earned the title of "the minister of defense". At the University of Tennessee, Reggie was selected for the Sporting News College All-American first team. Reggie was selected for and played in the National Football League Pro Bowl from the 1986 through 1993 seasons (and was selected as the outstanding player of the Pro Bowl for the 1986 season) and was selected for the Pro Bowl for the 1994 season. In addition, Reggie has been selected as defensive end on The Sporting News NFL All-Pro team for 1987, 1988, 1991 and 1993. Reggie was posthumously selected for membership in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

As one of the most dominating defensive players in the history of the National Football League, at the conclusion of the 1994 season, Reggie held the record for most sacks in a career at 145. Reggie has been a team leader throughout his football career and commands respect from players to inspire all of those around him to play up to their maximum potential.

Reggie's career is a handbook for discipline and hard work and he has applied what he has learned in his dedication on the athletic playing field to his endeavors off the field as well as he continues to reach out and provide assistance to many of those in need.
