its easy to learn

Very Informative & easy to follow

this section covers basic foot technique and some simple drumset beats and patterns (drum tuning is another section, the other reviewer did not realize this. there are many sections to this video). when you download the free lesson book, you can check out all the examples for this dvd, and he explains it gradually from beginner to intermediate levels. drumteacher.com sections work for me & students. highly recommended & well done!

There is nothing for a student to practice. I wouldn't expect a student on the first lesson to be able to change a tom tom skin, nor do I think it's important at this stage. There is no inclination to go to the next stage, except to see what they missed out on in the first lesson.
