From the creator of the original "Drumset Play-Along," Wes Crawford presents still another innovative concept in interactive video drumming! The "Rhythmic Murder Mystery" video contains a full concert of solo electronic drum pieces performed by Wes. The wacky narrator (Brian McNelis) presents the unfolding mystery and challenges the viewer to logically piece together the solution by listening to the music-oriented clues imbedded within the challenging original pieces.

Originally designed as an interactive concert performance tool to promote intense listening skills on the part of a musically inclined audience, this video version is an adaptation of Wes's successful live "Rhythmic Murder Mystery" one-man show.

A mystery with musical clues? Wacky and fun.

As a lifelong pianist, I thought this musical game would be a cake walk for me. But it was quite challenging and fun. It's amazing the variety of musical style Wes Crawford can pull out of an electronic drumset. The swanky quickstep main theme was my personal favorite. And yes, it was campy, but I loved all the smoke and colored lighting to go with the murder mystery game.
